Just tried these out at a shoe try-out event at Berkeley Ironworks. They performed spectacularly regardless of trying out a pair that were a little too large for me. The material inside and straps the shoe secured my feet well, the sole had a confident feel on slopey/slippery footholds and were comfortable. The only downsides are that they aren’t the best at smearing and would get pretty toasty on a hot day, but the other traits more than make up for it. I look forward to buying a pair when they become available.
