Wore these shoes for a little over a year purely for route setting until recently when I had to retired them as they were falling apart.

I really enjoyed wearing them for forerunning boulders and found I would be wearing them as much as climbing shoes. The rubber is sticky and flat making them great for standing on volumes, especially coordination. The weight of the shoe is light which is nice when wearing them all day. The folding heel is also a nice touch for quick slip on use in a pinch.

The shoes downsides are however the build quality and the laces. I’ve had to glue back together the sole of the shoe twice now and have gotten to the point where I can no longer wear the shoe. The laces are also very frustrating to untie once chalk has gotten on them making the shoe very difficult to manage when putting the shoe on and off quickly during a day of setting.

Overall, I really enjoyed this shoe and appreciate brands creating shoes for routesetting. I hope the next iteration of the shoe has a better reinforced sole and laces that are easy to work with when chalked up. Also toe-hook rubber on the top of the shoe would be amazing!
