Not just a speed climbing shoe, these are a great all around slip on. I primarily use them bouldering. They fit my asymmetrical feet (long great toe, short small toe) perfectly and the heel feels almost impossible to pull out of. I wear mine street shoe sized and they are still snug enough to never have issues with a loose heel or when I toe down on small holds. I actually prefer these over the UP moc as a general gym shoe. I have also worn these outside frequently to warm up on granite and they perform excellently. The only down side of these is that they absolutely will turn sweaty feet Smurf blue.

Absolutely one of the best all around gym shoes I’ve ever bought. Unparallel should be advertising these as an elite Mocc, not a speed climbing shoe.
– First the comfort is out of this world, I had to double take when I first put them of to see if they added some sort of padding in them which ended up being that synthetic upper. The break in period doesn’t exist, they’re comfortable from the first time you put them on.
– Performance blew me away. They edge, smear and heel hook with the best of my shoes. I was expecting a performance dip with edging, but I suppose since I properly sized them down I really could no tell the difference between these and my old Pinks in the gym.
-Fit I highly suggest 1 full size down for a proper performance, heck I could’ve gone 1.5 down as they’re so comfortable. Sizing down 0.5 and you might have the heel slipping depending on the person. Unparallel has also said the UP-Rise are smaller than this model. I have these Up-duels in 9.5 which are almost exactly the same heel to toe length as my Vims that are 10.5.

I use these as an all around gym shoe. They’re great. I have struggled to find shoes that fit my heel in the La Sportiva and Scarpa lines, so I was very pleasantly surprised to find that these have almost no dead space in the heel (did not try on before ordering).
Sizing- I ordered a half size down (37.0 / M 5.0) from my street shoe size (37.5 / M 5.5), which is perfect.
Fit- I have a high arch and narrow foot. My foot shape is Greek. I’m female and traditionally fit “low volume” shoes best, but this is my best fitting shoe.
I’m very light (<100lbs) and have found the RH rubber to be a great mix of sticky and durable.

TLDR: They’re a recreation of OG moccasym’s, but with an unlined synthetic upper — which is exactly what I want.
Perfect shoes that are easy to slip on/off, comfortable, and perform well on whatever you throw at them.
I got these to be my dedicated gym beater shoes over the UP Mocc’s, because they’re:
1. Synthetic, so the fit out of the box will be more or less the same (every unlined synthetic UP shoe “warms up” and stretches out maybe 1/4″) whereas UP Mocc’s blow out over time since they use an unlined leather upper.
2. Slightly stiffer midsole, which is just preference but I appreciate the support when edging
3. No toe patch rubber (like the OG moccasym’s) — I have other shoes for that, so I really don’t need it on these and it makes the shoe more comfortable for my toe knuckles
It’s just a classic shoe.
For sizing, I measured the length of my foot (from my big toe, diagonally, down to the middle of my heel by tracing an outline) to be 25.5cm so I ordered both the 25.0cm and 25.5 cm. The 25.5cm pair was perfectly tight and comfortable out of the box, while the 25.0cm pair was ever so slightly uncomfortably tight. I kept the 25.0cm pair, and that was definitely the right choice, because during my 1st session with them they warmed up to feel like a literal rubber sock — and as they break in, they’ll stretch/mold without resulting in them being too baggy.
